Berry good!

Now is when my potager becomes truly fun! Since the beginning of the week I have gathered 925g of strawberries, a nice bowl every day. I pick them when they are a rosy red and leave them in the kitchen all night and the next day they are usually dark...

Strawberry fields

The merry month of May is here and the weather is quite warm and dry compared to the last two years. My strawberries are producing earlier and abundantly in spite of the cold spell the last two weeks as the sun is quite warm and with May the temperatures...

Fin Mai au potager

Les beaux jours sont définitivement là et tout pousse sauf les haricots verts : bettes, pois gourmands, tomates, aubergines, concombres, courgettes, oeillets d'indes, cappucines... Les fraises arrivent à leur fin, bien que j'ai encore eu un petit bol...

Mai au jardin

Fresh strawberries

Mi-mai et au lieu des poignées de fraises ce sont des bols de fraises que je ramasse tous les deux jours ! Délicieux trempé dans de sucre vanillé très fin, en salade de fruits, dans un yaourt velouté... et pour changer de la sempiternelle tomate-mozzarelle...
